How to get a weekly content briefing that tells you what is due, stuck and working

Set up a short weekly briefing from Clipflow in Claude or ChatGPT, covering what is scheduled, what failed, what is waiting on you and how last week went.

Know where your content stands without asking anyone

You want to know whether content is on track. Finding out means opening the Planner, checking the review queue and messaging your editor, so most weeks you do not bother until something has gone wrong. A short briefing gives you the same answer in the time it takes to read a message.

This prompt only reads, so it works on a brand new connection. See Set Up Your Assistant to connect.

The prompt

Give me my Clipflow briefing for the [organization name] organization. Use short lists, keep it under 200 words and leave out any section with nothing in it.

  1. Posts scheduled over the next 7 days on each channel, and any day with nothing.
  2. Posts that failed to publish in the last 7 days.
  3. Drafts that nobody has reviewed yet.
  4. Videos waiting for review or with changes requested, and how long they have been there.
  5. Open high priority or urgent projects, and any with a date that has passed, with who is on each one.
  6. Views, followers and engagement over the last 7 days compared with the 7 days before.

Finish with the one thing I should do first. Do not change anything in Clipflow.

If you lead a team, add a line for each person: “Group section 5 by person, so I can see who has too much on.”

Run it every Monday

The briefing is the safest thing to automate, because it cannot change your workspace.

In Claude, on a paid plan, ask in a conversation for this to run every Monday at 8am, or go to Cowork → Scheduled → New task and paste the prompt. Scheduled tasks run on Anthropic’s side, so your computer can be asleep. Check that Clipflow is turned on for the task, then run it once by hand to confirm it can reach your workspace.

In ChatGPT, you can ask for a recurring task in the same way. Scheduled tasks work with the apps OpenAI supports, and a custom app added through developer mode may not be available to them. If Clipflow does not run in a scheduled task, keep the prompt saved and run it yourself on Monday.

If neither is an option, this still takes under a minute to run by hand.

What to do with it

Good to know

  • Dates depend on your projects. The overdue check only finds projects with a date set. If your team does not date projects, drop that part of section 5.
